Even a small charity can make a big difference.

Over the years many charities have been set up to help people in the City of London and neighbouring areas. The City of London Justice Rooms Charitable Trust is one of the smaller funds.

The City of London Justice Rooms Charitable Trust (COLJRCT) is one of the smaller funds which benefits those who come to the Magistrates' Courts in the City, as well as their families.

While we continue to do this we also offer assistance to a wider range of vulnerable individuals and also make donations to charitable organisations specifically supporting anyone who has lived or worked within the City of London.

All our Trustees are magistrates appointed from the Central London Bench and led by our recently re-elected Chair, Miss Jane Reynolds JP.

‘I was using a broken fridge and it was impossible for me to replace this, as I wasn’t earning enough to be able to save for one. The trust covered the cost of a new fridge which allowed me to be able to do a proper food shop as I could now store food properly and be able to use the freezer compartment which I didn’t have before, so I could plan and make my meals, which was important to me as some of my temporary accommodations prior did not have kitchen facilities – it really came at a time I needed it the most, which I am grateful for.’
